[2005 Commitments and Petitions]

These are the commitments and petitions for the Children¡¯s World Summit for the Environment held in Toyohashi and Toyota Cities, Japan, from 25-29 July 2005.

* Saving Energy and using renewable energy sources;
* Planting 10 trees every month and boycotting all endangered animal products;
* Learning and sharing innovative ways to collect, conserve and reuse water wisely;
* Using environmentally friendly bags and separating all kinds of waste for recycling and processing to ensure minimization of landfill waste.

 

[2006 Commitments and Petitions]

These are the commitments and petitions ( Environmental Contract) for the ICCE held in Malaysia in 2006.

*Plant a minimum of 20 trees each year.

*Organize a Tunza International Tree Planting Week in the last week of September each year, and mobilize our communities and schools to join in;

*Make presentations about the Conference and about Tunza activities to our schools;

*Write to decision makers about environmental issues;

*Say ¡°NO TO PLASTIC BAGS¡±, promote recycling in schools and communities and, whenever possible, buy only recycled products or products that can be recycled;
